Manitou Springs made headlines as Expedia.com announced its list of the 2021 Friendliest Cities in America. We’re flattered, of course, and proud to see our community recognized for being its creative, collaborative, and authentic self.
The City of Manitou Springs has begun the process of updating zoning and subdivision codes and your input is crucial to this process. Codes also help reduce health and environmental risks, so these updates affect public health and safety as well as the look and feel of the community.
During difficult times, getting help with groceries isn’t about a hand out — it’s a hand up.
There will be an emergency food distribution, hosted by Care and Share, at the Pool and Fitness Center (202 Manitou Avenue). This distribution will take place on Tuesday, March 2, at 12:30PM-1:30PM.
Future food distributions will be held on Tuesday, April 6th and Tuesday, May 4th.
