Manitou Springs Creative District
A State designated Creative District, we support Economic Development through the Creative Industries. Making sure that artists and creative solutions are a part of our City’s development, we work with the City; Manitou Springs Chamber of Commerce, Visitors Bureau, and Office of Economic Development; the Urban Renewal Authority Board and so many others to accomplish big, city-wide endeavors in a way that supports our artists and the quality of life of our community. The board meets on the 1st Thursday of each month at the MAC.
Pikes Peak Arts Council
is a 501(c)3 and acts as an advisory board to the City of Manitou Springs. They manage the Art on the Avenue program and meet on the 3rd Monday of each month at the Manitou Art Center. Have an idea for a Public Art Project? Contact MSAC.
Manitou Art Center (MAC)
Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2018, the MAC is a 501©3 and is a tool-sharing, space-sharing, skill-sharing art center. They have galleries, classrooms and conference rooms in addition to their artist studios and co-working spaces. Create Café, E11 Creative Workshop, Textiles West Innovation Lab, Colorado Running Company, Concrete Couch and others also operate out of the MAC. The Board meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the MAC.
Manitou Springs Arts Council (MSAC)
is a 501(c)3 and acts as an advisory board to the City of Manitou Springs. They manage the Art on the Avenue program and meet on the 3rd Monday of each month at the Manitou Art Center. Have an idea for a Public Art Project? Contact MSAC.
