Zoning and Subdivision Codes are the primary regulatory document that cities use to ensure quality development to keep a community healthy, happy, beautiful and prosperous. The Code includes regulations and design standards that address zoning, land uses, building setbacks, building height, parking, landscaping, neighborhood character, and procedures. The City of Manitou Springs has begun the process of updating codes and your input is crucial to this process. Codes also help reduce health and environmental risks, so these updates affect public health and safety as well as the look and feel of the community.
