The #CreativeCircuit celebrates 6 miles of outstanding arts and culture experiences
Pikes Peak Region, CO – Debuting today, the Avenue Creative Circuit brand partnership represents three bustling districts linked by 6 miles in the heart of the Pikes Peak Region: The creative districts of Downtown Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs and the Old Colorado City historic district.
Flanked by world-class attractions like the imposing Manitou Springs Incline in the west and the inspiring U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Museum in the east, the Creative Circuit offers the highest concentration of cultural experiences and creative industries in the Pikes Peak Region. Uniting this assembly of museums, galleries, boutiques, artisan shops, restaurants, performance venues, and public art under one banner will allow the partners to promote the Creative Circuit as a destination.
“It’s that density of outdoor beauty, local arts, food and culture that makes the Creative Circuit a unique experience in the state,” said Manitou Springs Creative District director Becca Sickbert. “It packs unbelievable energy into just a handful of walkable and bikeable miles.”
Locally based Fixer Design created the branding system to help the partners communicate the richness of opportunities for Creative Circuit visitors and enterprises.
“Downtown Partnership is delighted to join our colleagues in OCC and Manitou in offering this new brand as an outreach tool on behalf of our creative businesses and cultural organizations,” said Downtown Ventures executive director Claire Swinford. “As the Creative Circuit, we will speak with a unified voice to connect with new patrons for the beloved places, programs and attractions that make each of our districts unique.”
“We are lucky to be positioned at the heart of the Circuit, placed in between two strong districts,” added Old Colorado City Partnership vice president Sara Vaas. “OCCP finds tremendous value in this collaboration as it helps to enhance our arts and culture and create access points along the corridor.”
